This Beautiful Moment is brought to you by art.

Sunday, the Boy and one of his friends ventured to Lincoln, MA to the Decordova Sculpture Park and Museum.  It got passes for the park at our local library.  It houses art work inside the five-story museum and has many sculptures sprouting through fields and walking trails.  It is one of the coolest places on Earth.  I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

The Rain Gates was one of my favorite exhibits. I want this in my yard.
The Merry-Go-Round of Hidden Agendas featured a windmill that spun people through many “houses.”
The Black Hearts is a bronze set. When visitors get closer, they see wrenches, axes, flashlights, and pliers in the sculpture.
Talk about recycling newspapers….
Here is a zoomed in shot of the Skirts and Pants piece. I took it from the roof terrace of the indoor museum.
Alice’s Garden is a wonderful romp on rocky steps, that included a Pegasus, a goose, and this giant head.

Here’s a shot of the back of the museum. The Boys said it looked like Hogwarts.

If you’d like to see pics of the indoor exhibits (that I was not allowed to take pictures of) visit the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park website now.  🙂
